Graciano is a red grape of Rioja and Navarra, also grown in Portugal as Tinta Miúda. It ripens late and yields little, but gives deep color, high acidity and a distinctive perfume of violets, dark fruit and herbs. It is usually a small part of Rioja blends, adding freshness and aging potential, though some single-variety wines are made.
