Vijiriega is a traditional white grape of Andalusia, grown mainly in the mountain vineyards of Granada and Almería, and known as Vijariego in the Canary Islands. It tends to keep good acidity, giving fresh wines with citrus and white fruit. It is found in small amounts, on its own or in blends.
