Athiri is an old white grape of the Aegean islands, grown on Santorini, Rhodes and Crete. Its wines are light to medium in body, with moderate acidity and gentle aromas of lemon, melon and white flowers. It is often blended with Assyrtiko, adding softness and fruit.
